Groovy
Moments

Katoorah Jayne has appeared on two separate AAA radio station compilation discs for most requested songs alongside Shawn Colvin, Indigo Girls, Crash Test Dummies, Matthew Sweet, Tori Amos, Sonny Landreth, Leftover Salmon and others. She also appears on a Les Femmes Qui Rock compilation disc and a Humane Society holiday compilation CD.

Katoorah Jayne will consume you without batting an eye. She creates aggressive and confident songs that show no mercy. Sharply defined, erotic and powerful, Jayne dominates in a world of sandpapered hearts.

My pick of the bunch changes daily, as almost every track has something outstanding. This is a fantastic album, fresh, quirky, and funky enough to dance to. Make the effort and go to www.katoorah.com today.

This band has two demo CDs you gotta hear. Lead singer and principal songwriter Katoorah Jayne could very well turn Tunetown on its ear. This is hard-edged pop with smart lyrics and plenty of genuine attitudes. (As opposed to the kind where the artist snarls in the cover photo but seems pretty much disconnected from the songs. Rule of thumb: if you see the word "attitude" in the promo pack, chances are they don't have any.) Brett Ratzner's guitar can pierce like a stiletto or ooze like some kind of thick liquid (that's a compliment). Like everybody else, they're sniffing at various deal possibilities. At press time, nothing is solidified, so if you're an indie looking to sign some truly cool band, you oughta give 'em a call.

Katoorah Jayne emerged in Billboard Magazine's Continental Drift section for her appearance at the American Festival in Milan, Italy. She was termed a "label defier" for her diverse musical style.

The Friday Morning Quarterback praised her vocal ability as "delivering a sensual roughness that slides easily from rocker to ballads."

The Hard Report concurred saying, "she has one incredible singing voice and if you haven't heard her material, you must be serviced with some."

G. Brown of the Denver Post said that, "her intense stage presence is deserving of major record label attention."
